LISD Director Andrew Moravcsik, Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University, was appointed " Technical University of Munich Distinguished Affiliated Professor."  He was honored for his outstanding pioneering research work in European Integration and International Relations. Professor Moravcsik is the founder and leading scholar of the theory of Liberal Intergovernmentalism in the political science sub-discipline of European Integration as well as of Liberal Theories in International Relations. The Technical University of Munich (TUM) recognizes internationally outstanding scientists who have developed a field of science in a leading way and who collaborate with their TUM colleagues on a long-term basis. The award ceremony will take place on October 01, 2021, at the Hochschule für Politik München / TUM School of Governance.
