“The Deep Structure of Transatlantic Relations: Diversity and Complementarity” workshop is held on June 7-8, in Munich, Germany and jointly organized by Andrew Moravcsik, Director of the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination (on leave) and Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University, Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt, Chair of European and Global Governance at the Hochschule für Politik München / TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology and Erik Jones, Director of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute.

 The workshop will focus on four key areas:

  1. Diffusion, (Non-) Convergence, and Cooperation in the Tech Sector
  2. The Deep Structure of Internal Markets and Diversity and Complementarity at the National Level
  3. Economic Security and Cooperation in the Trade and Technology Council
  4. Transatlantic Diversity and Cooperation

Andrew Moravcsik will present on “Far Right Politics and Transatlantic Relations.”  LISD Acting Director Sophie Meunier will participate in the workshop and present on “Sequencing Economic Security: The Self-Reinforcing Dynamics of Geoeconomic Regulations” with co-author Sarah Bauerle Danzman.
