This opportunity was created as a result of the collaboration and conversation LISD International Policy Associates (IPAs) had in Berlin in October 2023 with Eva Christiansen, Partner at FGS Global and former Advisor to Chancellor Angela Merkel.The internship, based in Berlin, Germany, will run for 60 to 90 days during Summer 2025. Interns will be paid a monthly salary of € 2,300.00. German proficiency is not required. Interns will work with FGS Global’s Public Affairs team, gaining hands-on experience in strategy development, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include conducting research on political and economic developments, supporting media analysis and public affairs strategies, and attending and reporting on hearings and conferences.Applicants must be currently enrolled Princeton students with a strong academic record, a demonstrated interest in politics, public affairs, and strategic communications, and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Interested students should apply through the SWP 2025 Internship Application Form, selecting “FGS Global” where indicated, by February 26, 2025.
