Event Description

The Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination will hold a Crisis Diplomacy lunch seminar, "A Critical Time of Multiple Crises," on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. in 012 Bendheim Hall. The session will be led by LISD Director Wolfgang Danspeckgruber and Col. Sam Gardiner, USAF, ret., with participation from Christopher Nixon Cox '01, Knut Hammarskjold '93, and Michael Schönleber '12. To attend the session, RSVP to Angella Matheney.

The session discussion will focus on current crises framing international events and decision making, including developments in Ukraine, Syria, Libya, and North Korea, as well as Brexit. The session will consider these crises within the context of the first 100 days of the Trump Adminstration, and inputs from international organizations including the OSCE.
