Event Description

The Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination will hold an evening reception, "Determine Your Destiny: Missile Technology in Iran and Korea," on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. in 019 Bendheim Hall, with Dr. Markus Schiller, Founder and Director of ST Analytics GmbH and a non-resident senior fellow with LISD. Dr. Markus Schiller is one of Europe’s leading experts on missile technology and aeronautics holds degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Technical University Munich and has been teaching on missile technology there since 2007. He worked at Schmucker Technologie, and held a fellowship at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California, in 2011. In 2015, he started his own consulting firm ST Analytics, focusing on space technology, security and threat, and—of course—rockets and missiles. He has contributed to missile-related studies for NATO, the German federal government, the European Union, the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the German and Austrian armed forces, the East West Institute, various aerospace companies, and other institutions.
