Event Description

The Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination will hold a diplomacy lunch seminar at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015, in 012 Bendheim Hall. Ambassador Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein will be the featured speaker. To attend the session, RSVP to Angella Matheney. Space is limited.

H.S.H. Prince Nikolaus of Liechtenstein is non-resident Ambassador of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the Holy See in Rome and former Ambassador of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union. Before this he was head of the Liechtenstein delegation responsible for negotiating the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). He has also served as standing representative of the Principality of Liechtenstein in relation to various institutions, among them the European Council in Strasbourg, and has worked as a consultant to the Foreign Office of the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein. He was President of the International Philosophical Academy of the Principality of Liechtenstein and President of the Prince Franz Josef II Foundation for international cultural and academic cooperation. Prince Nikolaus obtained his doctorate in Law from the University of Vienna.
