Ambassador Albert Rohan, former Permanent Undersecretary of State, Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered the talk, “Europe and the USA: A Partnership in Crisis” in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall on the Princeton University campus on Tuesday, November 19, 2002. The talk was co-sponsored by LISD, the Center of International Studies, and the Woodrow Wilson School.
Rohan held a variety of distinguished posts in his forty-year career in the Austrian diplomatic service, including National Coordinator for the Central European Initiative and Ambassador to Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. In the U.S., he has served as Director to the Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General. He has also been a leading member of diplomatic delegations in Belgrade, Kosovo, Iran, and other areas of conflict.
