A colloquium, "The European Union, Austria, and the Future of Central Europe," was held at Princeton University on April 30 - May 2, 1998. The event brought together academics, policy makers, and diplomats for three days of discussion and analysis of critical issues. Sessions included: The European Union Today, The EU since the Treaty of Amsterdam, EU-US-Asia Cooperation or Competition, Emerging European Security Structure, EU Enlargement, Federalism and Subsidiarity, The Euro, Emerging Socio-Political Concerns, and Central European Socio-Cultural Dimensions.
