A one-day workshop, "The Future of the South Balkans," was held at Princeton University on December 12, 1998. Participants in the workshop discussed issues related to the problem of democratization, the time factor, Serbs and Kosovo, Kosovo Albanians, Macedonia, leadership, organized criminality, and NATO and EU membership.
