Event Description

The Kenyan organization KenSAP provides access to world-class higher education for gifted, needy Kenyan high school graduates who would otherwise have no chance to pursue such an opportunity. Several KenSAP alumni are current and former undergraduate students at Princeton University. Plans are underway to expand KenSAP programs into a refugee camp. Alan Davidson, Executive Director of KenSAP, will discuss the organization's mission in light of ongoing challenges on the continent to provide educational opportunities for gifted African youth, including refugees.

Alan Davidson has been with the KenSAP team since 2016. He is a lawyer by training and before KenSAP, he handled legal matters for early-stage American technology companies. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a Bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Michigan.
