Event Description

Jason Park is a career Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State and currently pursuing a MPP degree at Princeton SPIA. He previously served as a political advisor at the U.S. Mission to the UN covering European affairs from 2020-2024, and was a drafter and lead negotiator on multiple landmark UN resolutions on Ukraine following Russia’s full-scale invasion. Jason’s overseas diplomatic postings were in Beijing, Mumbai, and Seoul. Jason previously served as the U.S. Embassy Seoul North Korea Watcher from 2017-2020, during a historic period of U.S.-DPRK and inter-Korean engagement, and also worked on U.S.-China relations at the State Department’s then-China Desk. Before joining the State Department, Jason was part of the first group of Peace Corps volunteers to Cambodia, where he worked on rural education and development. 

The workshop is open to all Princeton University students.
