Bio/Description Abena Amoah is a junior from Accra, Ghana, majoring in Economics on the Math Track with minors in Finance and African Studies. Her interests lie in economic development, intercontinental trade, technological innovation, and youth education in Sub-Saharan Africa. Last summer, she worked as a research intern with Kindred Laboratories where she contributed to projects on youth mobility and institutional access across the Global South. The prior summer, Abena served as a consulting intern in Cape Town supporting market entry strategies for emerging African businesses. Her research interests include Monetary and Fiscal Policy in Sub-Saharan Africa, Intra-African Trade and Africa-Asia relations. At Princeton, Abena serves as Head of Consumer for the Tiger Consulting Club, leading a team of analysts and delivering economic briefings on global macro trends to support the club’s international consulting work. She is also a member of the Society of African Internationals at Princeton and BLKCapital Management. Abena speaks English, Twi and Spanish.
