Bio/Description

Alexandra (Lexi) Wong is a sophomore from NYC in the School of Public and International Affairs, pursuing certificates in History, the Practice of Diplomacy, and in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies. She is especially interested in conflict, alignment, state-building, and democratization in the post-Soviet states and the Balkans. In summer 2022, she interned in Sofia, Bulgaria at the Center for the Study of Democracy – a policy think tank – researching Russian disinformation and economic influence in unconsolidated European democracies, and Bulgaria-North Macedonia relations. Lexi is also a Princeton cheerleader, an economics tutor at the McGraw Center, and a National Defense Fellow through the Ronald Reagan Institute and the Alexander Hamilton Society.
