Bio/Description

Andrei Iosifescu is a sophomore from New York majoring in History and pursuing minors in Medieval Studies and Humanistic Studies, as well as certificates in Contemporary European Politics and Society, and History and the Practice of Diplomacy. His research interests range from international law and comparative constitutionalism to European integration to medieval and early modern European history. Andrei currently serves as deputy captain of the Princeton Model United Nations Team and recently he led the 2024 Princeton Diplomatic Invitational conference as director-general of committees. He is also an EU Program Undergraduate Fellow, a Princeton Chapel Music Librarian, and sings with both the Chapel Choir and the Early Music Princeton Singers ensemble. A first-generation American of Romanian descent, Andrei speaks Romanian and French. He is learning German, having studied abroad in Vienna, and has worked at the Permanent Mission of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the United Nations during the summer of 2024.
