Bio/Description

Aviva Schwarz is a junior in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs with a minor in Computer Science. From 2019 to 2021, she was a research intern at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, studying anthropogenic climate change impacts on harmful algal blooms in the Arabian Sea. In 2022, Aviva was a tech scouting intern at Starburst Aerospace through the Princeton Startup Immersion Program. On campus, she is involved with the council of Mathey Residential College, the student board of the Center for Jewish Life, and the leadership of the Tower Eating Club. Aviva is a member of the meaningful engagement of children and youth in transitions working group with the United Nations Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict.
