Bio/Description

Daniel Nikbakht '10 is a former International Producer for CNN U.S. and CNN International, having served previously as Special Assistant and Research Specialist to the Founding Director of the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination at Princeton University (LISD) and Founder and Chair of the Liechtenstein Colloquium on European and International Affairs (LCM), Dr. Wolfgang Danspeckgruber. Since 2006, Daniel has either assisted, organized and/or attended as a contributing participant to over 17 LCM meetings in Brussels, Vienna, Berlin, Potsdam, Petersberg, and Triesenberg, among other locations worldwide. At Princeton, Daniel was a fellow in the Program on Religion, Diplomacy, and International Relations (PORDIR), for which he presented the conclusions of his year-long research at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, Austria.  In 2012, Daniel traveled to Dushanbe, Tajikistan to serve as the first inaugural fellow of Princeton-in-Asia. In 2009, Daniel travelled to Amman, Jordan to work for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in assistance to refugees. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
