Bio/Description

Francesca Farman-Farmaian is a sophomore from New York studying Public and International Affairs planning to minor in History, East Asian Studies and Chinese language. Francesca has a broad passion for national security-related issues and the ways in which security shapes international dialogue. She has a particular interest in sovereignty-related conflicts and the ways in which disinformation and artificially manufactured cultural narratives are used to sway public opinion and policy. Before coming to Princeton, Francesca worked with the Council on Foreign Relations’ China-Taiwan Fellow supporting research on scholarly prescriptions for the implementation of future anti-disinformation campaigns in Taiwan. This past summer, she participated in the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth and interned with Evident Insights, an AI-integration company based in London. On campus, Francesca is a dancer in the Disiac Dance Company and a member of Princeton's Private Equity Club and Princeton Women in Business. She speaks French and is studying Chinese.
