Bio/Description Gabriela Cejas is a junior in the Economics Department with certificates in Latin American Studies, French Language and Culture, and History and the Practice of Diplomacy. She co-founded and leads the Princeton University Economic Development Organization, which focuses on international development research and activism, and she serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair for the Princeton Model United Nations Team. Gabriela’s research interests include development, sanctions, U.S.-Cuba policy and migration. In 2022, she took an intense French course in Aix-en-Provence, France, and interned with Programmes Internationaux D’Echanges, helping coordinate logistics for students who study and work abroad. She also worked as a legal intern with the Mabel Center for Immigrant Justice and with the Cuba Emprende Foundation, which helps develop Cuban-owned businesses and train entrepreneurs.
