Bio/Description Juan Fajardo is a sophomore from Miami, Florida, studying in the School of Public and International Affairs with minors in the History and the Practice of Diplomacy, Near Eastern Studies and European Studies. He is interested in comparing conflict resolution processes in Latin America and the Middle East and focuses on the development of armed rebel groups in relation to land tenure processes. In the context of ongoing peace negotiations in his native Colombia, Juan wishes to conduct policy analysis on demobilization and reintegration efforts to address larger issues of inequality. This past summer, he designed soccer jerseys at a startup in London. At Princeton, Juan leads print design for The Daily Princetonian, is an English Language teacher at El Centro in Trenton and is an Art Museum tour guide. He previously served as a legal assistant for the ACLU Clemency Program. Juan speaks Spanish, French and Arabic.
