Bio/Description

Justin Murdock is a junior at Princeton University from New York, New York. He is majoring in History with minors in European Studies, German, and French. Justin’s academic focus includes the dynamics of European imperialism of the modern era, post-colonial governance and reconstruction, and contemporary transatlantic relations. At Princeton, Justin has built a robust extracurricular profile in law and politics. Most notably, he has served as the Cliosophic Party Chair of the American Whig-Cliosophic Society, the oldest collegiate political society in the United States. Additionally, he holds positions at the Princeton Legal Journal, Princeton Men’s Club Lacrosse, and Y Tu También, a New York City-based program that supports low-income, high-achieving students in gaining college access. Justin’s academic pursuits are complemented by his seasoned work experience. He has conducted legislative intent research at the New York Legislative Service, contributed to policy outlining at the New York District Attorney’s Office, and engaged in export practices and market research on Germany at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He is proficient in both German and French.
