Bio/Description Katya Hovnanian-Alexanian is a rising senior at Princeton University majoring in the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), with minors in Near Eastern and Russian, East European Studies. On campus, she served as the Deputy Programs Director of the Whig-Cliosophic Society and is the Lead Student Ambassador at the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination. Katya is also on Dean Amaney Jamal's student advisory committee. Outside of college, she is a World Economic Forum Young Global Shaper and former youth adviser to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian. In the summer of 2023, she interned in the Office of the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and is currently an intern assistant producer at CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS.
