Bio/Description Khoa Sands is a junior from Oakland, California, studying history. His academic work focuses on the history of sovereignty, grand strategy, and political philosophy. Additionally, he is interested in the political and diplomatic history of Inner Asia and its relevance to modern geopolitical and strategic concerns. Last summer, Khoa interned as a law clerk for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. At Princeton, Khoa serves as the president of the Senate of the American Whig-Cliosophic Society and as a vice president of the Human Values Forum.
