Bio/Description

Kunsel Subrahmanyam is a Tibetan-Indian sophomore matriculating in Operations Research and Financial Engineering and pursuing minors in History and Computer Science. Having lived in Vancouver, Shanghai, Jakarta, Taipei, San Francisco, New York and Singapore, he brings a unique passion of learning from and connecting with people across different cultures. Kunsel’s interests center around Indo-Pacific policy, communities in exile, the strength of global democracies, and technology policy. He has worked with Tibetan NGOs and the Singaporean government on projects surrounding education for Tibetan youth, raising awareness on the plight of the Tibetan people, assessing Tibetan democracy-in-exile, and developing stronger policy safeguarding migrant workers in Singapore.
