Bio/Description

Madeleine “Maddie” Feldman is a sophomore from Washington, D.C., likely studying at the School of Public and International Affairs, with minors in East Asian Studies and the Center for Information Technology and Policy. Having spent the 2022–2023 academic year studying Mandarin intensively in Taipei, Taiwan, on a State Department scholarship and working at the Asia Foundation, U.S. Congress, and American Institute of Taipei, Maddie has developed a keen interest in East Asia geopolitics, particularly at the intersection of climate change and technology alignment. On campus, Maddie constructs crossword puzzles for The Daily Princetonian, interviews experts for a long-form economic policy podcast, and proudly serves as the Rocky College mascot. With a strong foundation in Mandarin and Spanish and a passion for international relations, Maddie is committed to addressing pressing global issues through a nuanced understanding of impending crises.
