Bio/Description Nico David-Fox is a sophomore from Washington, DC, intending to major in History with minors in French and European Studies. His focus includes France and its former colonies, Northern Africa, and the European Union. Nico is interested in global 21st-century democratic backsliding, European integration, and post-colonial relations. This past summer, Nico lived in Paris, conducting and publishing historical research on Nazi-occupied France as an intern at the Museum of the Liberation of Paris. He has previously worked as a legislative intern for New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and a research intern at the Library of Congress, where he published research guides on French regional languages and the French Resistance during World War II. At Princeton, Nico is an Assistant News Editor for The Daily Princetonian and the Literary Society President of the American Whig-Cliosophic Society. He speaks English and French.
