Rawand Aziz is a native of Kurdistan who fled his home at a young age due to the Iraq war. At Princeton, he studies computer science, but plans to enter politics or a related field after graduation. He is an advocate for displaced persons, is deeply interested in the self-determination of peoples as a fundamental right, and remains passionately engaged in civic causes and advocacy in support of Kurdistan.
