Bio/Description

Teddy Bhatia is a senior from Washington, D.C., in the School of Public and International Affairs, pursuing certificates in Latin American Studies and Language and Culture in Spanish and Portuguese. After volunteering for Polish Humanitarian Action on the Ukraine border, he is interested in issues regarding human rights and immigration. He is also passionate about education policy, having spent time in Guatemala as a certified TEFL teacher and working for an educational NGO in São Paulo. Having recently interned for the Inter-American Development Bank, Teddy is interested in the relationship between NGOs and governments, economic development, and trade in Latin America. On campus, Teddy serves as President of The Tiger Inn, tutors Spanish as the undergraduate course assistant for the Spanish Department, and plays for the Men’s Club Soccer team.
