Bio/Description

Tevin Singei is a senior from Nairobi, Kenya, studying Economics and pursuing the Program in Political Economy and a minor in Musical Theatre. He co-leads the LISD Africa Program and is interested in how the private and public sectors can collaborate for stronger and more efficient economic development, especially in the Global South. He is also curious about international trade economics and the institutions steering them, more recently the African Continental Free Trade Area and its implications on trade across Africa. Tevin is involved with pre-professional organizations in business and international affairs on campus, and he has interned with consulting firms like BCG and finance companies like SoftBank, Advent, and Goldman Sachs, where his interest in the effects of macro policies on businesses has continued to grow.
