The International Policy Associates (IPAs) Initiative is a foreign policy centered program that strives to empower students interested in international affairs and careers in public service by creating unique educational and professional experiences. The IPAs Initiative pursues its mission with the following objectives:

  • To provide a pre-professional program for undergraduate students interested in international relations, which supplements research and classes with experiential and practical learning through engagement with scholars, experts, commentators, journalists, representatives of civil society, diplomats, politicians and other global practitioners, both on the Princeton campus and on trips inside and outside the US.

  • To expand supportive community and professional networks for fellows interested in global policy.

  • To develop ideas for events, help prepare and lead events, and to participate in activities of the IPA program and LISD more generally.

Princeton and LISD are strongly committed to welcoming students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

If interested, please contact IPAs Ambassadors Leighton Symons '25, Katya Hovnanian-Alexanian '25 and Luke Carroll '26.
